Pat has experience dating back to his childhood, growing up in Utica, NY running around the neighborhood and playing winter and summer sports. Just prior to high school, he found Track & Field and never looked back as he ran Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor track all 4 years, while earning respectable accolades.

Success in competition carried into college as well, running his first 2 years in his hometown at Mohawk Valley Community College where he pursued and earned his A.S. in Sports Medicine, followed by Springfield College in Springfield M.A. where he earned his B.S. in Applied Exercise Science. Finishing his collegiate running career with an MVP honor.

It was this fusion of an active upbringing, passion for running, good coaches as well as specific role models and mentors, that gave Pat his interest in pursuing personal training. Pat still runs and competes locally with his brothers, and is certified through the National Strength & Conditioning Association,  Revolution Running and is a USATF Level 1 Coach.

Pat has worked with a wide range of individuals, he gained vast experience working in a physical therapy clinic as an exercise specialist taking patients through their detailed and varied programs. He has also worked with many athletes from youth, high school, collegiate as well as Olympic qualifier caliber. Excited to work with anyone with any goal, Pat does specialize in runners and has high interest in anyone aiming to train for a 5k, Triathlon or Spartan/OCR race.

A big focal point in Pat’s training is injury prevention and better function, utilizing rehab style exercises frequently to ward off injuries, improve strength and balance as well as increase lean muscle.  He believes that to be a quality trainer, you have to attain knowledge from many disciplines in fitness and not get stuck on any one, yet apply them all as the moment seems fit.
