Moiz Khan, CPT
Pre/Post Natal Instructor
Moiz grew up in central New Jersey, where he ran on his high school track team and enjoyed playing lacrosse. As a biology student that was constantly looking to improve his performance, he spent much of his free time learning about exercise science to further develop his athleticism, with an emphasis on strength and power training.
Moiz went on to double major in neuroscience and psychology at the University of Rochester, where he developed a deeper understanding of human physiology while continuing to play on the club lacrosse team and recreationally picking up soccer and basketball through intramural sports. After encountering minor injuries across four seasons of lacrosse, Moiz developed a deeper appreciation for good form and proper technique as key to injury prevention, in addition to athletic development.
Moiz is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and lives in Northwest Washington DC, where he enjoys playing soccer, hiking, and listening to investigative journalism podcasts in his free time. Moiz is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and an Oh Baby! Fitness Pre/Postnatal Fitness Instructor.
In additional to training, Moiz also works part-time at a physical therapy practice, taking clients through exercises and mobility drills to help them regain strength, flexibility and range of motion.
Moiz strongly believes that taking good care of oneself through fitness and weight management provides a great sense of freedom, and that feeling good in your body opens the world up to you. He strives to help his clients reach their personal goals through long-term planning and empowering them to be their best selves.
