Tayler grew up in Illinois and went on to receive her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. Tayler continued her education, receiving her Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology also from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. Shortly after graduating, she relocated to the NoVA area to pursue career opportunities.
Tayler’s passion for fitness and for helping her lead her to become a Certified Personal Trainer by the American Council on Exercise (ACE), a Certified Group Fitness Instructor from the National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA), a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and an Annette Lang Pre/Post Natal Specialist.
Tayler has great experience working directly with a diverse clientele in several different kinds of fitness settings, including those with injuries, high risk populations and catering to large group settings. In addition to her trainer experience, Tayler also has experience in health education programs, exercise physiology laboratory work, metabolic testing and undergraduate teaching.
Tayler has a passion for health and fitness and loves seeing others benefit from her knowledge and expertise. Her goal is to help people to be physically active as she feels it is so beneficial in many ways. Tayler believes that individuals who are more active are less likely to be overweight, have fewer chronic health conditions, have lower levels of stress, miss fewer days of work, and are more productive than their sedentary peers.
