Valley Bennett Certified Personal Trainer

Valley Bennett, CPT
NASM CPT
Pre/Postnatal Fitness Instructor
Parkinson’s disease Awareness Training
Adult/Child CPR/AED

Valley has been an active athlete for the majority of her life. After spending many years in retail and owning a natural food store, she was ready for a new direction in life and decided to pursue the fitness industry. Valley is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and an Oh Baby! Fitness Pre/Postnatal Fitness Instructor.

Valley has also completed Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Training for Fitness Professionals, through the American Parkinson Disease Association. This allows Valley to safely and effectively work with those who exhibit all forms of Parkinson’s disease, from the initial stage to more progressed stages.

She is always passionate about healthy food, a self-caring life, and positive thoughts. Her years of retail have taught her the importance of community connection and customer care. The strong relationship she has forged with her customers has become the foundation of her efforts, both professionally and personally. She enjoys sharing her knowledge, experience, and skills for having a positive, fun, and active lifestyle. Valley has three children and understands the “fine-line” of balance for creating quality time for her family, working/owning a business, and taking care of herself and others.

Valley’s competitive athletic experience involves swimming, marathons, trail running, off-road triathlons, and karate, which include: boxing, kickboxing, and self-defense. As she remains steadfast in her Martial Arts training, she holds a 1st Degree Black Belt with the American Karate Black Belt Association and the World Martial Arts Ranking Association, two of the most prestigious and oldest certification bodies for Martial Arts, Self-Defense, and Boxing/Kickboxing Fitness in the United States.

Valley’s experience has given her the opportunity to be proficient with strength & conditioning training which includes body weight drills, balancing exercises, boxing pads & heavy bag drills, water-resistance strengthening, light contact sparring, and kickboxing, as well as basic self-defense knowledge.

She believes boxing skills can benefit anyone. Everyone already has the strength and ability for self-defense (“One simple action could save your life.”) and just being ready — physically and mentally — for your everyday life is the best goal.

Valley will be adding to her DeHenzel Personal Trainer experience with a certification as a Corrective Exercise Specialist.
