Jodi was raised in Northern Virginia and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University.  She currently resides in Ashburn with her husband, four children and chocolate lab.

As a youth, Jodi played basketball and softball.  Jodi has always enjoyed working out, but after her 3rd child, she became a more dedicated runner and was able to lose 35 lbs. Staying in shape and working out became a passion.

With her 4th child in school, Jodi decided to pursue a goal of becoming a personal trainer.  This allowed her to combine her love of working out with an opportunity to help others.  She became a certified personal trainer through National Council for Certified Personal Trainers (NCCPT).  Jodi is an Annette Lang Pre/Post Natal Specialist and enjoys helping women navigate exercises during and after their pregnancies. Jodi is also a Certified Girls Gone Strong 1 – Coach, which allows her to specifically help female clients with their health and wellness.

Jodi has also completed Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Training for Fitness Professionals, through the American Parkinson Disease Association. This allows Jodi to safely and effectively work with those who exhibit all forms of Parkinson’s disease, from the initial stage to more progressed stages.

In the past several years, Jodi has kept busy volunteering at the elementary school, leading church children and youth groups and coaching youth basketball. She enjoys circuit training, weight lifting, cycling, hiking and running. In her spare time, she has done a marathon, half marathon, duathlon, triathlon, and Ragnar races, but her favorite are mud runs, including Super Spartan, Spartan Sprint, Rogue Runner and Warrior Dash.

Jodi loves adding variety and creativity to workouts to make them fun and enjoyable.  She has worked with various fitness levels and knows how to modify or intensify to give the best workout for each individual.
