Karina is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Maryland. She brings a thoughtful, analytical approach to fitness, combining structured program design with a strong emphasis on sustainable habit development and client accountability. With experience working in premium fitness environments and private client-facing settings, Karina understands the importance of professionalism, discretion, and trust—especially when training clients in their homes.
Karina’s passion for fitness was shaped through her own experience navigating busy professional demands, stress, and the challenge of prioritizing health during major life transitions. Through strength training and endurance sport, she discovered how consistent movement can improve not only physical strength, but mental resilience and overall well-being. She now brings that perspective to her coaching, helping clients build routines that feel realistic, supportive, and empowering.
Her training style focuses on foundational strength, accountability, and personalized programming tailored to each client’s goals, lifestyle, and comfort level. Karina places a strong emphasis on communication, habit formation, and mindful progression—meeting clients where they are and helping them move forward with confidence.
In addition to her personal training certification, Karina has completed coursework in behavior change, stress management, and advanced cardio programming, and is CPR/AED certified. She is also a Honolulu Marathon finisher and continues to pursue performance-based goals, giving her firsthand insight into training consistency, recovery, and long-term progress.
Karina has also completed Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Training for Fitness Professionals, through the American Parkinson Disease Association. This allows Karina to safely and effectively work with those who exhibit all forms of Parkinson’s disease, from the initial stage to more progressed stages.
Karina services clients throughout the Washington, D.C. area and is passionate about helping clients build strength, confidence, and momentum through supportive, personalized training. Her goal is to make fitness feel approachable, sustainable, and rewarding—so clients can carry the benefits of training into every aspect of their lives.
