Derronda is a Maryland native with over a decade of experience helping clients of all ages improve their strength, mobility, and overall health. She is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Oh Baby! Pre/Post Natal Exercise Specialist, Corporate Health Educator, Certified Nutrition & Wellness Coach, and ACE Certified Behavior Change Specialist, bringing a well-rounded skill set to each client she works with.

Her training philosophy is rooted in the belief that fitness should be functional, enjoyable, and adaptable, empowering clients to build strength and confidence they can carry into everyday life. She’s skilled at meeting clients where they are, whether they’re building foundational fitness, recovering from injury, or working toward specific performance goals.

Derronda has experience working with clients of all ages, to include the senior population – helping them maintain independence, balance, and vitality, as well as young athletes guiding them to improve strength, agility, and performance while reducing injury.

A proud graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, Derronda studied Kinesiology, gaining a deep understanding of human movement, exercise science, and injury prevention. Her own personal fitness journey — from overcoming early health challenges to building a sustainable, active lifestyle — gives her unique insight and empathy when helping clients navigate their own paths toward wellness.

With a background in corporate health education and health coaching, she blends functional movement, strength work, and sustainable lifestyle habits to help clients feel strong, confident, and energized at every stage of life.

Outside of training, Derronda loves traveling, exploring local hiking trails, experimenting with healthy recipes, and spending quality time with her family.
